Camp Bursztynowy Las
Location - our greatest asset
Our campsite is a two-hectare area nested in the middle of a wild pine forest.
Our guests are only a three-minute walk away from the wide, little-frequented beach, and can get to the Gdańsk Main City in 20 minutes by car or 25 minutes by bike.
Our area borders with the nature reserves of Jeziorka Karasiowe and Green Islands.
Sports infrastructure is available in the neighboring National Sailing Center and the Academic Sports Association.
Accommodation
The core accommodation base includes 40 simple summer cabins (some with a toilet), all renovated in 2020-21. The cabins are equipped with bedding, electric kettle, garden furniture, some also with a fridge.
More demanding guests are invited to our glamping tents and newly built PREMIUM cabins, equipped with bathrooms and kitchenettes.
For guests who value independence, we offer motorhome and camping sites.
Facilities
Camping guests use shared showers, toilets and kitchen facilities equipped with: gas cookers, sinks for washing dishes, large fridges, tables for consumption (both inside and on the outside on the illuminated terrace).
In the camp, there is also a small playground, volleyball court, small basketball pitch, campfire spot and plenty of free space. In-door club room comes with a TV, resting area and small tables for board games, while in the play-room there is a ping-pong and a foosball table.
Basic groceries, beer and fresh bread can be purchased in the camp shop, and a barbecue can be borrowed at the reception. A larger grocery store is approximately 2 km away and you can buy smoked fish at a nearby smokehouse.
There is also a small pizzeria and snack bar serving delicious wood-oven Italian pizza, small bites, coffee and wide selection of beers, cocktails and soft drinks.
Sports and tourist infrastructure
Guests can enjoy the beach, walking and cycling routes in our forest (including the red Sea Fortifications Trail ).
The most active ones can hire sailing equipment or kayaks at the close-by marina of the National Sailing Center or find other activities at the AZS Górki Zachodnie Center including: tennis courts, gym, multifunctional sports hall, climbing wall and a professional wellness center.
For children
Camp Bursztynowy Las is a family place - we cordially invite the youngest to enjoy a small playground, in-door play room, volleyball court, and of course the beach and forest for swimming, walking or cycling excursions.
In collaboration with the AZS center, we offer daytime activities as day camps on Monday-Friday. The program includes: sailing, windsurfing, tennis, climbing, general sporting activities (please contact reception desk for more information).

How to find us:
Our camp is located on the Port Island in Górki Zachodnie in Gdańsk.
We are only 20 minutes from the center of Gdańsk, and less than 3 hours from Warsaw and Łódź.
The easiest way to reach us is by your own transportation - taking Gdańsk Port exit on the S7 highway allows you to bypass holiday traffic jams in the Tri-City.
You can also reach us by mass transport - from the Gdańsk Główny train station, you can take a taxi or a bus no: 111 (plus a 15-minute walk from the bus stop).
